15 of Tom Selleck's Greatest Roles
Posted in Entertainment on Jan 20th, 2019
Born in 1945, Tom Selleck found his home in television roles, playing a judge, a laid-back private eye, and most lately, a police commissioner. He’s not done too shabby in movies either, appearing in more fifty made-for-tv and feature movies. He seems bigger than his 6 ft 4 frame, or maybe it’s just that even now in his 70s he still one, big, screen-filling, sexy hunk of a man. Be still my heart.
15. Myra Breckinridge (1970)
Selleck’s film debut was small but memorable. He played the oh-so-hot Studs in Myra Breckinridge, a movie based on the Gore Vidal’s 1968 novel. The tongue in cheek novel followed the crazy exploits of a transgender woman played by Raquel Welch. The entire thing was over the top, including sex symbol Tom.
