It's easy to think you know the royal family through all the TV shows, movies, and headlines in which they feature. You might even start to feel like part of the family yourself. We're sure their family drama is not too different from our own. Maybe even Prince Philip, like a rambunctious old uncle, wakes up in the morning bleary-eyed and a little hungover from time to time. Of course, we never get to see this side of them since they're royalty and therefore impervious to the gaze of plebs like us. Perhaps our desires to know all their secrets stems from their seemingly untouchable status or perhaps we're just nosy little buggers.

The queen popularized Essie Ballet Slippers pale pink nail polish in 1989. Her distaste for colorful nail polish is why bright or dark colors are almost never seen on Kate or Meghan’s hands. Although Meghan pushes that boundary often, the pink polish is deemed the safest of all colors. The polish retails for only around eight to nine dollars a bottle.
